Job Summary
Provide strategic HR partnership for GRCC by supporting recruitment, employee and labor relations, benefits administration, policy implementation, and handbook/contract administration. Collaborate with management to design job descriptions, lead full-cycle recruitment, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Manage payroll setup and benefits questions; administer retirement plans (MPSERS, ORP) and leave policies. Coach managers in disciplinary action processes, performance evaluations, and employee development; lead process improvements in HR/LR, participate in employee training, and support CSA responsibilities for Clery compliance. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with GRCC’s mission, values, and strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management, business administration, or HR related field required
- minimum of 3 years’ experience in employee relations, handbook administration, disciplinary action, recruitment and other closely related responsibilities
