Job Summary
Facilitate delivery of HR services including employee relations, on-boarding, performance management, and engagement across job sites. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and trusted advisor to site leadership, providing coaching on people matters and workforce performance. Partner with team leaders to manage policies, handle employment decisions, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Collaborate with Diversity/Equity/Inclusion, Employee Development, and Talent Acquisition to implement initiatives, lead investigations, and facilitate internal movement. Provide coaching on career paths, support annual performance assessments, and administer the Drug and Alcohol policy. Act as an advocate for employees while maintaining discretion with confidential information.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years Human Resources experience with progressive role growth, or similar combination of HR-specific education and experience
- Discretion in the handling of sensitive situations and ability to handle highly confidential data with integrity and professionalism
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while being able to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the company
- Able to negotiate and resolve issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness
- Ability to build rapport and trust with a genuine care for people
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to comprehend the issue, identify the appropriate resources, and resolve issues to satisfaction
- Can meet deadlines with high attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws pertaining to labor and HR practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- System experience with Workday preferred
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
