Job Summary
HR Business Partner provides strategic and operational HR support across the organization, partnering with managers through the employee lifecycle including recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, disability and leave management, and leadership coaching. Responsibilities include advising leaders on HR policies, managing leave and accommodation processes, driving workforce planning, guiding performance and disciplinary matters, leading recruitment and onboarding initiatives, engaging with leaders and staff through site visits and program meetings, monitoring HR metrics and workplace culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements, delivering training and development to strengthen leadership capacity, and contributing to HR initiatives, budgeting, policy development, and change management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Leadership or Psychology
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- 2+ years of experience in employee leave and/or disability management
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment and workforce planning, including competency-based hiring, onboarding, and leadership support
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR systems
