Job Summary
Drive strategic alignment of people and business goals across departments by partnering with leaders to build an inclusive, high-performing workplace. Cultivate strong manager relationships, support talent acquisition and onboarding, and execute employee engagement strategies that foster belonging. Lead performance and development programs, manage succession planning, and handle complex employee relations matters with compliance focus. Utilize data insights to advise on workforce trends and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, including California standards. This bilingual HR Business Partner role requires 7+ years of progressive experience, SHRM certification, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and HRIS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience (distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred)
- Deep understanding of California employment law
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an asset
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Ultipro and Greenhouse a plus
