Job Summary
Welcome and assist employees, applicants, and visitors to the HR office while providing professional customer service. Create, maintain, and securely manage employee personnel records; track, retrieve, and distribute documents. Coordinate pre-employment drug screenings, facilitate HR meetings and trainings, and draft correspondence, memos, and meeting minutes. Perform daily administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and ordering office supplies using Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Serve as an HR liaison with the Tribal Gaming Agency and Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe departments. Maintain accurate HR documents and systems to ensure they remain current and organized.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or relevant clerical work experience
- Minimum of two years of administrative support experience in an office environment
- Ability to independently complete assigned duties and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling employee and company information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work the regularly scheduled shifts required for the position
