Job Summary
Collect and respond to unemployment, Paid Family Leave, and EDD requests while maintaining accurate personnel records and managing HR filing systems. Coordinate recruitment strategies, post job ads, process applications through the ATS, and prepare monthly recruitment reports for finance and board meetings. Assist with payroll timesheet reviews, Workers Compensation filings, and benefit administration, including support for annual Open Enrollment. Track annual performance review completion and facilitate employee training workshops. Liaise with hiring managers, supervisors, and employees to resolve timesheet issues and ensure compliance with employment laws. Attend regular meetings with the Senior HR Manager and participate in the CARES Committee for team building.
Required Qualifications
- Must be highly skilled in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, writing, editing, proofreading, and database management
- Should demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent analytical, computer, written, and verbal communication skills required
- A professional attitude, good judgement, and the ability to work as part of a team are required
- Requires demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Valid California Driver License, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation required for occasional travel to offices county-wide
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable
- Experience in a social services setting or agency preferred
- Should demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working with quantitative data preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
