Job Summary
Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations with a focus on employee record management, payroll and benefits support, and HR administrative functions. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate personnel files and HR databases, assisting with payroll processing and benefits enrollment, answering employee policy questions, preparing reports and internal HR communications, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, handling employee status changes and data entry, partnering with management to develop HR policies, coordinating HR meetings and training, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while maintaining confidentiality and upholding corporate values. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST. This role requires 1–3 years of HR/administrative experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of administrative and/or HR support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS systems a plus
- Familiarity with FMLA, HIPAA, and labor laws
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with teamwork abilities
