Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and operational support for the HR function and serves as the first point of contact for employees, applicants, and managers. Responsibilities include responding to routine questions, maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and recruiting administration (new hire files, orientation, interviewing coordination, hiring documents), assisting with benefits administration and enrollments, handling I-9 documentation, scheduling HR-related events, preparing HR communications and reports, processing employment changes and separations, supporting HR reporting and global reporting, and maintaining HR content on internal systems. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, delivering strong customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and recordkeeping requirements. It also involves support for cross-functional HR activities, coordination with Colorado receptionists, and potential involvement in global HR efforts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with HRIS/ADP, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred, or high school diploma/GED with three to five (3–5) years of relevant human resources and administrative experience required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee records administration, or benefits processes preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Self-directed, dependable, proactive, with strong customer service orientation
