Job Summary
Manage the new hire lifecycle, including onboarding, position changes, and terminations, while ensuring compliance with HUB and SRAT clearance protocols. Oversee recruitment support, offer letter creation, and end-to-end onboarding for new hires, verifying documentation and aligning timelines with organizational values. Coordinate HUB and SRAT clearances, monitor OFL training certifications, and administer employment records, leave requests, and exit processes. Generate reports on onboarding metrics and clearance timelines, identify process improvements, and develop training materials. Maintain accurate personnel files, audit trackers monthly, and support staff engagement events and recruitment fairs.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary certificate in Human Resource and or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in human resources or administrative roles
- Proficient in advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with database management programs or HRIS systems, with hands-on experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interact with a diverse group., both verbal and written
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through on assigned tasks while meeting deadlines
- Practical experience in managing the complete employment cycle
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy with a high level of professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well with others at all levels and across departments in a positive manner
- Ability to meet intensive and changing deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with HR best practices, labor laws, collective agreement and BC regulations is preferred
