Job Summary
Answer phone calls, perform data entry tasks, and maintain personnel records in compliance with HR regulations. Assist in recruiting and hiring efforts by posting job requests, screening candidates, and setting up interviews. Develop forms and worksheets for record-keeping systems while compiling reports from personnel databases. Review and update HR information system records and enforce company policies. Communicate relevant information to employees and job applicants. Maintain professional boundaries and represent the organization respectfully in a diverse environment. Prioritize multi-tasking demands and adapt rapidly to changing directions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Previous experience working with authorization requests
- Previous experience working in a medical office setting, or equivalent experience
- Must have a high regard for confidential information
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance as scheduled and requested
- Ability to prioritize and to multi-task
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1-2 years documented Administrative Assistant experience, strongly preferred. In healthcare, a plus.
- Moderate to advanced computer experience in a variety of mediums.
