Job Summary
HR Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department, assisting with applicant screening, interview coordination, candidate follow-up, HR data entry, ATS and HRIS maintenance, and social media upkeep. Supports recruiting efforts, maintains employee records, and helps HR processes run smoothly. Responsibilities include screening applications, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and managers, maintaining ATS records, HRIS upkeep, onboarding support, posting jobs across platforms, social media content creation, and maintaining confidentiality. Required skills include strong communication, organizational abilities, data-entry accuracy, and familiarity with HR systems and office software.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Previous administrative, HR, recruiting, or clerical experience preferred
- Experience with ATS, HRIS, or social media platforms is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
