Job Summary
Provide consultative support to operational leaders on displacement processes and collective agreement interpretation. Coordinate union leave requests, administer billing processes, and conduct analysis for the Attendance Management Program. Monitor compliance with collective agreements, regulatory requirements, and professional registration standards. Perform data analysis, research, and documentation to support HR initiatives, then develop reports and dashboards for workforce planning. Contribute to HR projects and process improvements including workforce optimization. This work applies employment legislation and VCH policies to support evidence-based decision-making in partnership with operational leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Human Resources
- two (2) years of related experience in a large and complex organization
- Proficient computer skills with word processing, spreadsheet and graphics programs
- confirmed expertise in database programs, e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking, analytical and problem solving
- excellent time management skills
- expertise in the interpretation of collective agreement provisions, government legislation and departmental policies and procedures
- expert investigative and analytical skills
