Job Summary
Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, including onboarding, recordkeeping, scheduling, and employee communications. Maintain accurate HRMS records, assist with recruitment postings and closure, manage personnel files, handle document preparation and filing, answer phones, relay messages, and support HR appointments and testing. Serve as a point of contact for employees, managers, and applicants; contribute to reporting and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEOC, ADA, COBRA, FLSA, IRS). Attend trainings and perform additional HR tasks as assigned, showcasing attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced office environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, documents)
- Knowledge of or familiarity with the automobile industry and dealership operations preferred
- Experience with HRMS or HR administration tasks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
