Job Summary
In-plant HR administrative assistant responsible for coordinating office clerical needs and supporting project managers to ensure clerical tasks are met on schedule. Duties include typing routine letters, processing purchase and material requisitions, handling mail and faxes, answering phones and transferring messages, routine clerical duties, and performing other job-related duties. Responsibilities also include setting up personnel files, tracking vacations, handling new hire orientations and related tasks (scheduling, drug screens, and physicals), managing the training portal and training records, entering requisitions, supporting the HR Manager and Operations, updating training records, monitoring training budgets, and maintaining confidentiality with intermediate to advanced office software proficiency. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; sedentary/desk-based role with the ability to perform repetitive motions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) with 0 – 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
