Job Summary
Oversees HR and accounting functions for the Hy-Vee store, including payroll, performance reviews, scheduling, benefits, employee counseling, and store accounting reconciliation. Manages recruiting, training, orientation, and payroll processing; prepares standard reports and communicates with department heads. Supervises store staff, coordinates employee relations, and ensures staffing, customer service, and employee satisfaction while maintaining financial integrity through accounts payable/receivable, deposits, and reporting to corporate. Requires strong problem-solving, arithmetic skills, and the ability to counsel employees and manage payroll processes within store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school education plus 2-3 years HR and/or Accounting experience; Hy-Vee experience preferred
