Job Summary
Oversee key HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and compliance. Serve as a strategic partner to employees and management by communicating policies and procedures effectively while addressing relations issues with a solutions-focused mindset. Lead recruitment efforts from interviewing to selection, conduct new hire orientations, and coach managers on disciplinary actions and performance concerns. Maintain compliant personnel files, coordinate recognition programs, and manage workers' compensation, LOA, FMLA, and unemployment claims processes. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend relevant trainings to stay updated on HR trends. Minimum of two years' experience in Human Resources and Healthcare is required, with a background in Long Term Care preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Human Resources
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Healthcare
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and best practices
- Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to maintain current and compliant employee personnel files through regular audits
- Must be able to maintain productive relationships with union officials
- Must be able to uphold labor contract terms
- Must be able to manage Workers' Compensation, LOA, FMLA, and unemployment claims processes
- Must be able to represent at hearings when required
- Must be able to participate in administrative staff meetings
- Must be able to attend relevant trainings and seminars
