Job Summary
Lead HR strategy and operations for the Denver area site, partnering with leadership to develop and execute talent strategies. Oversee employee relations, performance management, benefits, compensation, labor compliance, recruiting, policy interpretation, and implementation of HR programs. Coach and mentor the Denver HR team, collaborate with COEs to standardize HR policies, drive workforce planning, and develop leadership capability. Analyze HR trends and metrics, support engagement initiatives, manage site talent acquisition, and ensure compliant, high-impact HR practices aligned with business objectives. Requires strong communication across operations, engineering and cross-functional teams, with a proactive, data-driven and change-enabled leadership style.
Required Qualifications
- Education: 4yr degree in Human Resource management or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Experience: 5-10 years’ experience supporting full spectrum of HR disciplines preferably in a high growth, high volume frontline employee or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and US/CO employment laws
- Experience partnering with COEs (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services, Learning and Development, HRIS)
- Experience with employee relations and investigations while maintaining confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Professional certification by either the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) or SHRM strongly preferred
- 5-10 years’ experience supporting full spectrum of HR disciplines
- Experience partnering within a Center of Excellence (COE) model
- Experience with employee relations and investigations
- Ability to interpret and apply state/federal employment laws and HR policies
- Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- Strategic HR leadership and change management capabilities
- Experience with HR analytics and KPI tracking
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
