Job Summary
Senior HR leadership opportunity overseeing employee relations, benefits, performance management, compliance, training, and HR operations for a respected financial-institution client. Lead HR strategy, advise managers, and collaborate with executives to cultivate a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workplace. Key responsibilities include coaching managers on employee issues and policy interpretation; administering benefits programs and enrollment; evaluating and enhancing wellness initiatives; managing performance review processes and talent development; succession planning and workforce planning; coordinating training for new hires and existing staff; ensuring compliance with employment laws; maintaining HR policies and employee handbook materials; conducting investigations and disciplinary actions; supporting employee engagement and recognition programs; partnering with recruiting to support hiring and onboarding; contributing to organizational planning as a member of the management team. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 5+ years of HR experience, strong employee relations and compliance knowledge, and excellent communication and analytical skills; SHRM certifications are preferred. The role emphasizes strategic initiatives balanced with hands-on employee support within a stable, community-focused organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong employee relations and performance management experience
- Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and benefits administration
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence leaders across an organization
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Experience within financial services, banking, credit unions, or other regulated industries is a plus
