Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will lead and manage HR policies, labor and employee relations, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, performance management and compensation review at the manufacturing site. Responsibilities include building contemporary HR practices and systems, monitoring associate engagement, implementing employee relations strategies, investigating issues, managing leaves of absence, partnering with site operations and leadership, driving performance management and talent development, ensuring consistent application of policies, sourcing/onboarding/retaining associates, maintaining HR metrics, and supporting special HR initiatives in alignment with company objectives. The role requires partnering with site leadership, ensuring confidentiality, and acting as the sole HR representative at the site when needed, with a strong emphasis on boots-on-the-ground execution and workplace safety. The position is located in Garysburg, NC and is not visa-supported.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of work experience in Human Resources
- Work experience in a manufacturing or similar environment required (rapid and complex). Start-up experience of Greenfield or Brownfield site a plus
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
