Job Summary
Manage employee relations and conflict resolution for operations, serving as the hands-on HR Manager and intermediary between the Regional HR Director and staff. Conduct Federal and State wage and hour audits, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and maintain accurate employee data in the Enterprise system. Recruit for job openings, conduct salary surveys, and oversee new hire orientations while ensuring training standards are met. Assist supervisors with corrective action and performance improvement plan reviews, and provide HR training for leadership. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of related experience, and knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business management, human resources, psychology or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
- Required knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulatory compliance
- A fundamental understanding of computer processing including word processing and spreadsheet applications
- At least five years related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
