Human Resource Leave & Disability Specialist

Job Summary
Oversees FMLA/leave administration, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and short- and long-term disability programs; ensures compliance with ADA, HIPAA, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws; maintains confidential employee medical records; advises managers on the interaction of leave laws with other benefits; coordinates return-to-work processes and audits as needed; participates in organizational events and supports HR programs and records management.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required based on business necessity to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders.
