Job Summary
Human Resources Generalist role focused on workforce planning, recruitment process evaluation, compliance with ADA/state/federal laws, and ongoing HR program administration. Responsibilities include updating employee job descriptions, ensuring proper background checks, drug testing procedures, and I-9/E-Verify; administering orientation/onboarding; aligning pay practices with FLSA; overseeing benefits administration; evaluating recruitment processes; maintaining and distributing required posters and compliance materials; managing disciplinary procedures, performance reviews, and employee relations; administering COBRA and ERISA-related tasks; and supporting training and development initiatives. The role requires Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in HR, with proficiency in ADP, E-Verify, and related HR systems, and strong knowledge of HR law and policy implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment
- Experience with I-9/E-Verify
- Experience with ADP, Everify, Infinisource
- Experience with COBRA and ERISA compliance
- Experience with payroll, benefits, and leave management
- Ability to prepare and review job descriptions and postings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
