Job Summary
Support employee and labor relations activities, including grievance administration, workplace investigations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements. Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for hourly and salaried employees. Partner with supervisors on performance management, attendance administration, corrective actions, and employee relations matters. Administer payroll, benefits, leave of absence programs, workers' compensation claims, and employee recordkeeping while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Develop and support training initiatives, prepare HR reports, and analyze workforce metrics to drive employee engagement, compliance, and operational effectiveness. This full-time, onsite position requires schedule flexibility, including regular 5:30 a.m. start times two to three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 plus years relevant experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and quickly learn new systems and processes
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
- This full-time, onsite position requires schedule flexibility, including regular 5:30 a.m. start times two to three days per week
Desired Qualifications
- One or more of SHRM/HR certifications
- Prior HR experience in a unionized facility
