Job Summary
Human Resource Generalist position performing professional HR duties including employee relations, training, employment, affirmative action and payroll functions. The role requires handling confidential information, coordinating recruitment and interviewing, processing background checks and drug screens, performing payroll reconciliations, maintaining personnel records, and supporting HR projects. Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR administration. Education: high school diploma or equivalent with some college/technical coursework; experience: minimum three years in a related HR role. Location:Jesup, GA; full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with some college or technical school coursework preferred
- minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience, preferably in a human resource department
- experience with payroll functions and HR processes
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to perform pre-employment screenings and recruitment tasks
- familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- ability to schedule interviews and manage documentation
- knowledge of HR compliance and personnel records handling
- ability to operate standard office equipment
