Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries. Support employee relations by addressing concerns, documenting issues, and escalating complex matters as needed. Administer and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook guidelines while providing guidance to managers on performance management processes. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files, ensuring documentation aligns with federal, state, and local employment laws. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and audit documentation to support compliance and internal reviews. Coordinate onboarding paperwork and assist with employee transitions. Partner with leadership to promote consistent HR practices and contribute to employee engagement initiatives. This onsite role in Dyersburg, TN, requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of manufacturing HR experience, with relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience in manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, EEO, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with employees, managers, and leadership at all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of core HR practices including employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, and performance management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems and HR recordkeeping requirements
- This role will be onsite in Dyersburg, TN
