Human Resource Generalist

Job Summary

Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors at the Dallas location, conducting workplace investigations and responding to concerns while maintaining confidentiality. Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly warehouse positions, including coordinating interviews, preparing offer letters, and overseeing new hire orientation and onboarding. Coach supervisors on performance management, corrective actions, and attendance policies while maintaining accurate personnel files and employment records. Process employee status changes within the HRIS, support payroll processing, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Assist with OSHA, workers' compensation, and workplace safety programs, and participate in developing HR procedures and continuous process improvements. This on-site role requires walking throughout the warehouse and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds, with flexibility to support early morning, evening, or weekend business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics operations is strongly preferred
  • Experience with high-volume hourly recruiting
  • Working knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee relations issues
  • Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity experience is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Operations and leadership
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to employees and managers
  • Ability to regularly walk throughout the warehouse and office areas
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally travel to the Denton location to support business needs
  • Full-time, on-site position based in Dallas
  • Monday through Friday, with flexibility to support occasional early morning, evening, or weekend business needs
