Job Summary
The HR Generalist role focuses on managing full-cycle recruitment, employee relations matters, benefits administration, and core HR functions. Responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, onboarding handoff, maintaining ATS records, building talent pipelines, conducting employee relations investigations, advising managers on performance and policy, handling benefits questions and open enrollment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting HR reporting and training initiatives. Required skills include extensive recruitment experience, HRIS/ATS proficiency, strong communication, investigations experience, and knowledge of applicable employment regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 3–5 years of broad HR experience with exposure to recruiting, employee relations, and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)
- Experience conducting workplace investigations
- Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.) and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion, empathy, and objectivity when handling sensitive matters
