Job Summary

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, source candidates, and manage interviews for exempt and non-exempt positions. Facilitate onboarding, maintain HRIS records, and process employee status changes while supporting payroll administration and benefits enrollment. Administer employee benefit programs, resolve timecard discrepancies, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Respond to employee questions regarding policies and assist with workers' compensation and training coordination. Primarily works in an office environment with regular visits to a manufacturing facility, requiring occasional walking and lifting up to 15 pounds. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional certification, and relevant experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of California employment laws, wage and hour requirements, leave administration, and applicable federal employment laws
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing fast-paced environment
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
