Job Summary
Manage talent strategies, lead recruiting efforts, and support team member training while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Create an inspiring guest experience by greeting shoppers, resolving issues, and delivering sincere service interactions. Anticipate staffing needs, optimize scheduling systems, and act as an expert resource for pay practices and safety protocols. Handle cash register operations, lift merchandise up to 44 pounds, and remain mobile during shifts in varying temperatures. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to support store leaders in building a passionate sales force.
Required Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds, without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
