Job Summary

Lead all day-to-day human resources operations for the skilled nursing facility, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, payroll coordination, and performance management. Coordinate hiring processes, maintain accurate personnel and compliance files, and process payroll, timekeeping, and attendance data. Coach department managers on employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution while ensuring adherence to federal, state, CMS, and regulatory requirements. Prepare staffing metrics, turnover reports, and labor analytics for leadership, and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement meetings. Monitor workforce trends, turnover rates, and vacancy levels to improve operational staffing goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources leadership experience, preferably in skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare, or post-acute care
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and long-term care regulations
  • Experience with payroll processing, HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, investigations, performance management, and compliance practices
  • Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry office materials or supplies up to 25 pounds as needed
  • Ability to travel throughout the facility to conduct interviews, orientations, meetings, and employee coaching sessions
  • Ability to respond promptly to staffing needs, employee relations matters, and operational priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
