Human Resource Coordinator

Job Summary
Support HR operations as an HR Coordinator, coordinating onboarding/offboarding, maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment, compliance, benefits, and employee communications; assist with data entry and reporting in the HRIS, prepare and communicate HR documentation, and conduct routine employee relations activities; manage onboarding check-ins at 30/60/90 days, coordinate exit interviews, and partner with hiring managers to ensure a seamless new hire experience; travel to Lemont and Channahon locations as needed; require strong organizational, interpersonal, and confidentiality skills; 1-3 years of HR or onboarding experience and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent are strongly preferred; TWIC credential required or able to obtain.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher preferred or required in HR related field
- 1-3 years HR, administrative, or onboarding experience desired
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance practices preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must possess or be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
