Job Summary

Strategic and operational HR partnership for the Canadian business with group-wide initiatives. Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, HR workflows, manager self-service tools, and learning and development programs. Design and improve scalable HR processes, templates, and digital tools; build proactive HR analytics and reporting; ensure compliance with Canadian and UK employment laws; and advise leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and talent development. Role requires experience in a SaaS/software environment, HRIS configuration (HiBob/Leapsome), LMS administration (Kallidus), and the ability to partner across UK and Canada operations. Education and professional qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and CIPD (UK) or CPHR (Canada) preferred. AI/digital competencies and a focus on data-driven outcomes are emphasized.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role
  • Experience handling employee relations matters and conflict resolution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CIPD qualification (UK) or CPHR certification (Canada) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and UK employment law and its practical application
  • Proficiency with HR metrics, reporting, and data-driven decision making
  • Hands-on experience configuring and improving HRIS platforms, particularly HiBob and Leapsome
  • Experience in sourcing SaaS/software talent across engineering, product, and commercial functions
  • Experience with LMS administration (Kallidus) and learning management systems
  • Experience working in a multi-national organization
  • Background in scaling HR processes within a fast-growing technology business
  • Experience implementing manager self-service and workflow automation initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach managers and support leadership development
  • Experience in workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition processes, candidate experience, and onboarding
