Human Landing System (HLS) Engineer- APS Systems (SME1)

HLS Engineer- APS Systems responsible for leading systems engineering and propulsion integration for the Human Landing System (HLS) ACS, driving risk mitigation and certification activities across Artemis program propulsion systems. Duties include applying the HLS partner Systems Engineering approach to design, development, integration and test; data analysis and anomaly resolution; assessing deliverables, hazards, verifications and tests; providing systems insight and recommendations for subsystem and in-space environment model fidelity; leading thruster integration across multidisciplinary teams to meet interface control and verification objectives; developing models and analytical documentation (trade studies, hazards assessments, fault-tolerance designs, flight certifications); participating in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and reviews with NASA safety and mission assurance; evaluating vehicle changes for propulsion impacts; and performing independent systems engineering analyses to support program goals. Must demonstrate strong motivation, ability to work independently and in teams, and travel within the domestic USA (5%). Must provide proof of US Citizenship.
