Job Summary
Design and execute recruiting strategies to attract top campus talent for Goldman Sachs' Japan businesses. Build and maintain year-round relationships with universities, career centers, and student organizations while serving as a brand ambassador to educate students on career opportunities. Partner closely with divisional recruiting teams and business leaders to understand hiring needs, deliver internship and analyst programs, and manage candidate relationships throughout the recruiting lifecycle. Develop innovative engagement programs, leverage data analytics to evaluate outcomes, and monitor talent market trends to inform future strategy. Deliver a consistent, best-in-class candidate experience across Japan and the Asia Pacific region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience in recruiting, university relations, talent acquisition, business development, relationship management, consulting or other client-facing roles
- Japanese and English language fluency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholder groups
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering results
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and operationally while maintaining a commercial mindset
- Ability to influence and engage multiple audiences within a complex, consensus-driven organization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and execution
- Results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a long-term strategic focus
