Job Summary
HUD Multifamily Inspector Talent Pool — this role collectively identifies qualified inspectors for future HUD multifamily draw and warranty inspections nationwide. Responsibilities include performing HUD multifamily draw inspections for construction progress and funding release verification, conducting warranty inspections for recently completed multifamily housing projects, evaluating units for HUD standards compliance, documenting findings clearly, submitting timely inspection reports and photo documentation, and communicating findings with developers, contractors, and stakeholders. Strong preference for NSPIRE and HUD inspection experience; must be able to travel and operate as a 1099 independent contractor on project-based assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in HUD multifamily inspections strongly preferred
- NSPIRE, REAC, or HUD inspection experience preferred
- Background in construction inspections, building code compliance, or government inspections
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant inspection experience preferred
- Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
