Job Summary
Hub Route Driver responsible for moving Aesop stock between Knox Auto Parts locations in La Vergne, TN, following safety procedures and federal/state regulations. Drives to and from the LaVergne hub to Cleveland hub, performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensures timely and safe transport of parts, adheres to hours-of-service rules and maintains vehicle logs, loads and unloads parts, and coordinates with teammates to ensure efficient delivery while complying with safety, traffic, and DOT requirements. Requires CDL with 2+ years of driving experience, HS diploma/GED, and valid DOT medical card; forklift experience is a plus; benefits include 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holidays, and HSA.
Required Qualifications
- CDL License required
- 2-year minimum CDL driving experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift Certificate preferred
- Automotive experience preferred
- Valid and clear driver’s license with a Medical DOT Card
- Meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements for safety
- Location-based state certifications and endorsements may be required
- Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Must be able to work effectively alone or with others in a team environment
- Must be able to work collaboratively across functions
- Must be a self-starter with the demonstrated ability to meet timelines and schedules
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
