Job Summary
Hub Driver (Class A) operates tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining required records, adhering to hazardous materials requirements, using in-cab technology and electronic logs, performing dock work as needed, and ensuring safe and courteous service to customers. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, meet FMCSA requirements, pass medical, drug, and background checks, and reside within commuting distance to the service center. Requires 21+ years old, HS diploma/GED, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and ability to operate across varying terrains and schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- Within 75 miles of domiciled Service Center/work assignment
- HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements
- Ability to drive tractor trailer per FMCSA requirements
- Able to operate forklift (minimum 7,500 lb)
- Able to lift 70 lbs+
- Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
- English literacy for FMCSA rules
- Authorized to work in the United States
