Job Summary
Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with company, FMCSA, and local regulations. Responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining required logs, adhering to FMCSA rules, ensuring cargo and equipment security, and providing professional service to customers. Must hold a valid Class A CDL with HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, pass medical, road test, and meet English-language requirements. Role involves driving various terrains and potentially over-the-road assignments, with potential dock work and adherence to safety protocols. Located in Mansfield, OH; on-call and Able to work with dock/OTR as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment
- HazMat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Doubles endorsement
- Must be able to pass FMCSA medical exam
- Must pass road test
- Ability to meet FMCSA English reading requirements
- Must be able to lift/move 70 lbs or more as needed
