Job Summary
Operate and monitor HTST pasteurization line for cheese production. Regulate milk solids, cream fats, and temperature; follow start-up procedures for equipment; monitor milk flow and readings across balance tanks, pasteurizers, separators, evaporators, and cheese vats; log twenty+ variables; operate Clean In Place (CIP) cycles; troubleshoot and maintain machinery; ensure adherence to Quality Assurance policies and food safety standards; recognize when parameters are outside acceptable ranges and coordinate with management; collaborate with team in a rotating 3/2/2/3 shift pattern; document information legibly and maintain organized logs; contribute to measurable and sustainable results in a dairy production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
