HTST Filler Operator

Job Summary
Operate fillers and packaging line for dairy beverage production. Responsibilities include setting up, cleaning, and monitoring the filler equipment, feeding ingredients distribution, performing scheduled quality checks, inspecting weights/seals/caps, adjusting filler timing, troubleshooting basic to moderate issues, ensuring proper packaging materials, executing line changeovers, prepping equipment for next runs, and maintaining clear communication with other departments. Collect and document process data per SOPs; uphold food safety and QA standards; complete required paperwork. Must follow GMP, PPE, confined space and chemical-handling protocols; capable of working in cold to hot environments and flexible scheduling; maintain attendance and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ months experience in manufacturing, dairy or related field preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to communicate when necessary to complete duties
- Able to work in cold and wet environments and various temperature zones
- Mechanical aptitude; able to maneuver in tight spaces
- Ability to operate equipment at recommended speeds and report defects
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
