Job Summary
General Manager at HomeTowne Studios by RedRoof oversees front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry and sales; recruits, hires, trains and leads staff; coaches and motivates employees; ensures compliance with Federal, state, local and company requirements; manages costs to meet budgets through forecasting and labor control; handles inventory and supplies within budget; oversees daily, weekly and monthly administrative functions including scheduling, labor reporting, night audit verification, payroll and guest reviews; requires experience in management and budgeting, with a focus on optimizing guest experience and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of management experience preferred in extended stay hotels, restaurant or retail management
- Must be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
- Understanding Profit and loss statements and budgeting experience preferred
