Job Summary
The HTM Imaging Specialist is responsible for the repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of diagnostic medical imaging systems. Key duties include troubleshooting imaging systems, maintaining imaging equipment, diagnosing problems at the circuit board level, and ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 regulations. The role involves coordinating outside repairs, monitoring maintenance schedules, conducting quality checks, and providing training on equipment usage and safety procedures. A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field and two years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field
- Two (2) years of professional experience as HTM Imaging Specialist, Field Service Engineer, or related occupation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience servicing Diagnostic Imaging Devices (MRI, X-Ray, CT scan)
- Experience utilizing hardware applications (Test Equipment-Multimeter, Electrical Safety Analyzer)
- Experience utilizing software programming applications
- Experience in equipment database programs (CMMS-Computerized Maintenance Management System)
