Job Summary
HSSP Clinician provides psychotherapy and comprehensive field-based mental health and recovery services to adults in Permanent Supportive Housing who have severe mental illness or significant emotional disturbance. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the clinician conducts individual, family, and group psychotherapy in office, member homes, or in the field; develops and implements individualized service plans; coordinates housing stabilization and community integration; participates in program evaluation and staff trainings; supports crisis interventions as needed and may participate in on-call after-hours. The role emphasizes client engagement, independent living, recovery-oriented care, harm reduction, and psycho-social rehabilitation, with responsibilities spanning direct therapeutic services, case management, documentation, and collaboration across departments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited university
- Valid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Current, valid California Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle
- Able to transport members in your vehicle
- Outstanding clinical and strong team-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and computer skills
