Job Summary
Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy for justice-involved members with severe mental illness in offices, homes, or the field. Engage members to coordinate mental health and recovery services that ensure housing stability and community integration. Collaborate on developing and updating individual service plans while maintaining accurate member files and participating in weekly staff meetings and clinical supervision. Assist management with program evaluation and crisis interventions, including participation in the on-call rotation for overnight and weekend emergency lines. Provide direct therapeutic and case management services within a multi-disciplinary team focused on harm reduction and psycho-social rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field of study from an accredited university
- Valid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Current, valid California Driver's with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle
- Able to transport members in your vehicle
- Outstanding clinical and strong team-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and computer skills
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- 100% onsite
- Full-time/Non-Exempt/Non-Management
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 35lbs
- Will necessitate working in busy and at times loud environments
- Will be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odor
- May need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the day
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with unhoused population, experience responding to/assessing for crisis
- DMH experience
- Bilingual Spanish
