Job Summary
The Housing Supportive Services Program (HSSP) Clinician will conduct psychotherapy with adults who have severe mental illness, in office, member homes, or field settings, and coordinate mental health and recovery services to support housing stability and community integration. Responsibilities include providing, coordinating, and implementing mental health and recovery support services; conducting individual, family and group psychotherapy; developing individualized service plans with members; assisting in program evaluation and future improvements; helping members engage in daily activities and recovery progress; collaborating with the HSSP team and participating in meetings and trainings; maintaining complete member files and assisting in crisis interventions as needed. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, California licensure/registration, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to transport members in a personal vehicle; strong clinical, organizational, and teamwork skills; capable of working in field and office environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field of study from an accredited university
- Valid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Current, valid California Driver’s with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle
- Able to transport members in your personal vehicle
- Outstanding clinical and strong team-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and computer skills
