Job Summary

Lead the Health Safety Security Environment and Quality Director role as the primary point of contact for HSSEQ requirements and activities for the account, communicating needs and results to Account Leadership. Develop and refine HSSEQ culture and training programs while providing technical expertise and strategic leadership for various JLL facilities, including all acquisitions, on regulatory compliance issues. Manage 3-5 direct or matrix reporting employees to support an account of 1600+ employees, overseeing incident investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, and the JLL AIMS system. Provide monthly trending analysis to management and ensure compliance with all HSSEQ sections of the Client Assurance Program, including managing annual corrective and preventative actions. Assist in the development of the HSSEQ Compliance Assurance program for JLL assets and present best practices developed on the client account to firm-wide clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, HSSE Management, Engineering or related Life Sciences
  • 10 years prior experience in comparable HSSEQ program management
  • The use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Candidate must possess advanced certification like CIH, CSP, CHMM, or equivalent
  • Practical working knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques, ideally within a Facilities Management environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, guidance and operating procedures
  • Presentation skills to deliver specialist advice at all levels and to deliver localized training to staff as required
  • Candidate must possess working knowledge of quality initiatives like Six Sigma, ISO 9001, etc.
  • Ability to carry out an audit and gather objective evidence through observation, interview and sampling of documents and records
  • General Industry OSHA 10/30 Hour Instructor
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree Preferred: Management, HSSE Management, Engineering or related Life Sciences
  • Strong organizational skills, information management proficiency and collaborative management style
  • Ability to keep abreast of trends and related best practices
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal skills in order to establish credibility with colleagues and senior management
  • Ability to work through and identify the root cause of any problem
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • General Industry OSHA 10/30 Hour Instructor a plus
