Job Summary
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the project HSSE Management System and Plan, developing procedures for wind turbine installation, heavy lifting, and work-at-height activities. Act as the primary HSSE focal point with authorities, contractors, and stakeholders while conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with legislation, ISO standards, and project requirements. Manage incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and emergency preparedness, alongside monitoring performance KPIs and trends for project leadership. Coordinate training programs and awareness initiatives across the project team. This 12-month contract in Ras Gharib, Egypt, supports the safe delivery of Scatec's renewable energy ambitions within a global organization focused on the energy transition.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of HSSE experience within construction projects
- At least 5 years in a managerial role
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within wind energy projects
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or an equivalent HSSE certification
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- GWO safety training or certification
