Job Summary
Develop and facilitate site-specific HSSE programs including targeted training, compliance audits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses. Lead divisional improvement teams to address hazards from near-miss reports and incidents while acting as a technical advisor for operational personnel. Conduct cross-business unit audits, track corrective actions, and analyze trends to develop proactive strategies for regulatory success. Analyze current operations to identify potential risks and create HSSE metrics indicating regulatory success. Drive a foundational safety culture through active presence, leadership development, and strengthening internal communications across all organizational levels.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental or related major
- 3+ years' experience in Safety, Risk Management or related field(s)
- Demonstrated success in working effectively in multi-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
