Job Summary
Medical Assistant/FulI-Time role at a Planned Parenthood Health Center in Redwood City. Provides direct service in health center areas including sexual and reproductive health, abortion services as appropriate, and information on Planned Parenthood services. Performs front office duties (check-in/check-out, scheduling, billing, insurance information collection, and patient communications) and back-office lab tasks (pregnancy tests, STI/HIV testing, phlebotomy/venipuncture, specimen handling). Maintains accurate documentation in EPM, supports billing processes, ensures timely chart preparation and lab processing, and upholds patient care standards. Requires a high school diploma or GED and ability to work nights/weekends; strong communication across diverse populations and basic Windows computer skills.
Required Qualifications

- Able to communicate sensitive information across diverse backgrounds (verbal and written)
- General knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment with multiple tasks and high accuracy
