Health Services Specialist I at Hayward Health Center provides direct clinical support across sexual and reproductive health services, including abortion when within scope, and delivers information on Planned Parenthood offerings and funding. Responsibilities span front office tasks (check-in/check-out, scheduling, billing information, and insurance coordination), chart/document management (EPM data entry, chart preparation, and billing corrections within 72 hours), and back-office lab/direct care duties (moderate lab testing such as pregnancy and STI/HIV testing, venipuncture, specimen handling, and room preparation). Requires ability to work in a busy clinic, communicate sensitively with diverse populations, and work evenings/weekends as needed.
